In 1985, the Rock Watch was launched on the U.S. market. The success of this watch, carved from granite sourced primarily from the Swiss Alps, was phenomenal. It was produced for test markets in Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta. Building on this highly successful test, the official launch on the Swiss market took place in March 1986, as evidenced by the cover of the February 1986 issue of Europa Star.
A fun and original designer watch, featuring a round case made of green stone (Swiss Alpine granite), Vendôme-style lugs, and a screwed steel back (signed and numbered). Integrated dial with yellow and red hands and an engraved Tissot logo at 12 o’clock.
Original green textured leather strap with a TISSOT pin buckle.
Movement: Mechanical manual winding caliber, signed ETA / 976.001 Swiss (brand new movement).
