Elegant and rare “export” officer's watch with a star at 12 o'clock (not marked Swiss Made, produced for Havana and Brazil in particular).
Large brushed steel case with horn lugs and clipped back (marked Omega and numbered). Original silver dial now “tropical/coffee” in color with patinated minute track on the flange, large hollowed counter with small seconds hand at 6 o'clock. Gold-painted Arabic numerals and copper-colored spear-shaped hands. Winding crown marked OMEGA.
Comes with two leather straps, a patinated Havana box strap and a gold ostrich strap with pin buckle.
The star is the symbol of precision awarded following certification by the Teddington Observatory in the United Kingdom.
Movement: mechanical manual winding caliber OMEGA / 30T2PC Swiss.
