A legendary race car driver's chronograph from the 1969 “Chrono-Matic” collections, it initiated the model’s name (also available with a white dial).
Round steel case with horn-shaped lugs, a silver and black bidirectional bezel graduated to 10/60 (slight wear), featuring a large triangle and a screwed back (signed and numbered). Black dial with two hollowed silver sub-dials modeled after the dashboards of race cars of the era (hours at 9 o’clock and minutes at 3 o’clock), a pulsometer scale on the flange, applied indexes, and a date window at 6 o’clock. Orange luminescent spatula-shaped hands, as well as the large chronograph seconds hand. Logoed crown at 9 o’clock, typical of the Buren caliber. High-domed plexiglass.
Comes with three leather straps: a havana-colored pilot’s strap with a BREITLING pin buckle, a black sport strap, and an olive green rally leather strap.
