A rare “007” version of the legendary Top Time racing chronograph, this piece appeared as a prototype on Sean Connery’s wrist in the 1965 James Bond film "Thunderball".
Round steel case with a smooth bezel, horn-shaped lugs, round pushers, and a special clipped case back (signed and numbered 2002). Matte black “Tropical” dial with two recessed silver sub-dials showing slight wear at 8 o’clock (small seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes at 3 o’clock), white tachymeter scale on the flange, applied indexes, and luminescent skeletonized spatula hands. Large steel chronograph seconds hand. Logo-engraved crown.
Comes with three straps: a racing green leather strap, a chocolate-brown sport leather strap with a BREITLING pin buckle, and a custom alligator strap.
Movement: Mechanical manual-winding caliber signed BREITLING / Venus 188 Swiss.
