A legendary racing driver's chronograph from the 1969 “Chrono-Matic” collection, it introduced the model’s name (also available with a black dial).
Round steel case with horn-shaped lugs, silver and black bidirectional bezel graduated 10/60 (slight marks), with a large triangle and a screwed back (signed and numbered). Silver dial with two hollowed black sub-dials reminiscent of the dashboards of race cars of the era (hours at 9 o’clock and minutes at 3 o’clock, with a 5-minute start in red), pulsometer scale on the flange, applied indexes and date window at 6 o’clock. Tritium dots and orange luminescent spatula-shaped hands, as well as the large chronograph seconds hand. Logoed crown at 9 o’clock, typical of the Buren caliber. Frosted Plexiglass crystal.
Comes with three straps: a black pilot’s leather strap with a BREITLING pin buckle, a vintage rubber strap, and a custom olive green rally leather strap.
