A sports watch that became legendary on the wrist of climber Maurice Herzog (a friend of Fred Lip) during the 1950 ascent of Annapurna.
Classic round gold-plated case (40 microns), smooth bezel, oversized crown for a better grip when wearing gloves, and a screwed steel back (numbered). Two-tone silver “railroad track” dial with applied Arabic numerals, small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock, and luminescent dauphine hands.
Original vintage leather strap and a chocolate-brown sport leather strap.
Movement: Mechanical manual winding caliber LIP / R50.
