This prototype chronograph (never produced in series) comes from the private collection of the founder of the T.O.T. brand, Mr. René Bruyeron. This piece bears the coat of arms of the GAM 56 squadron (Mixed Air Group 56 Vaucluse), a transport unit of the French Air Force since 1967. It is linked to the French special services, first the SDECE and later the DGSE, and notably to the Service Action.
T.O.T. case in brushed steel with horn lugs and a 6-point screwed back (unmarked, with sapphire crystal window and visible balance wheel). Black dial with three hollowed sub-dials and the T.O.T. emblem at 3 o’clock. Functions: Small seconds at 3 o’clock, minutes at 12 o’clock, hours and date window at 6 o’clock. Skeletonized hands with LumiNova tips for night vision and luminescent Arabic numerals. Calculation scale on the flange in the style of the Navitimer’s inner bezel, graduated in nautical miles / 60 km.
Comes with 4 TO.T. straps: two black pilot leather straps with white and red stitching, one rubber strap, and one flat-link steel strap with a deployant buckle.
Note on the logo: The three keys are derived from the coat of arms of Avignon, a city in the Vaucluse department. They refer to Avignon’s papal history and the Keys of Saint Peter. The bird above is a sparrowhawk.
Movement: mechanical automatic winding caliber / 7750 based on ETA Swiss.
