Rare version of the Porsche Design 7177 Military fighter pilot chronograph, series produced for NATO (full inscription version from the Orfina workshops). Only a few examples were produced by the Swiss manufacturer Orfina (under contract with Porsche Design at the time). Legend says that this range of chronographs was worn by the actors in the movie Top Gun. A very beautiful version has just been reissued by Porsche Design.
Tritium hands and indexes, no-radiation logo at 3 o'clock, P. Design and Military lettering at 3 o'clock. Aviation gray anodized steel case, smooth bezel, screwed steel back with engraving (Military and reference number, numbered). Black dial with three counters: seconds display at 9 o'clock, 24-hour dial at 12 o'clock, airplane-shaped hands (orange mirage) for minutes, date and day of the week in a window at 3 o'clock (in French), graduated bezel on the flange at 12 o'clock. Mineral glass with anti-reflective coating.
Comes with its original leather strap, a military NATO strap, and an original Porsche Design strap in aviation gray anodized steel with logo-engraved deployant buckle.
Movement: Mechanical automatic winding caliber LEMANIA/5100 Swiss.
