Very rare pilot's chronograph from the Navitimer reference 8806 Chrono-Matic collection, produced in very limited numbers, as most of the timepieces were produced in "pizza" cases in reference 1806.
Round steel case with clipped back (signed and numbered). Silvered multifunction notched bezel (used as a slide rule). Lacquered black dial with two hollowed silvered steel counters and superb patinated banana tritium indexes, red date window at 6 o'clock, luminescent skeleton hands and large arrow seconds hand. Functions: hours at 9 o'clock, minutes at 3 o'clock.
Three control straps: BREITLING pilot leather strap with pin buckle, T.O.T. black sport leather strap and vintage-style patina leather strap.
Movement: Mechanical automatic winding caliber Chrono-Matic signed BREITLING / Buren 12 Swiss.
