Very rare pilot's chronograph from the Navitimer collection, reference 8806 Chrono-Matic, produced in limited numbers, most of the timepieces were produced in “pizza” cases reference 1806.
Rounded steel case with clipped back (signed and numbered). Silvered multifunction notched bezel (used as a slide rule). Lacquered black dial with two hollowed silvered steel counters and large patinated green tritium indexes, red date window at 6 o'clock, luminescent skeleton hands and large arrow seconds hand. Functions: hours at 9 o'clock, minutes at 3 o'clock.
Three straps: BREITLING pilot leather strap with signature buckle, T.O.T. black sport leather strap and vintage-style black leather strap.
Movement: Mechanical automatic winding caliber Chrono-Matic signed BREITLING / Buren 12 Swiss.
