BREITLING (Chronographe Navitimer Chrono-Matic / ref. 1806), vers 1968

Chronograph nicknamed pizza by the pilots of the time, because of its large size.

Octagonal-shaped steel case with screwed back (numbered - Patent No. 11525/67). Black dial, patinated luminescent stick indexes and skeleton hands. Two silvered counters with minutes at 3 o'clock and hours at 9 o'clock, orange chrono second hand. Blackened patinated steel notched bezel and slide rule under the glass (flange), date window at 6 o'clock. The Chrono-Matic model is the first automatic chronograph Buren 11 caliber developed in 1969 in collaboration with Heuer-Leonidas, Hamilton-Büren and Dubois Dépraz.

Sport strap in patent-leather and a vintage green oiled pilot leather strap.

Movement: mechanical automatic winding caliber signed BREITLING / Buren 11 Swiss.
